Diabetic Patients now offered new review

Diabetic Patients are now offered a new review type of appointment. Our new Group Consultations involve a group of patients who all share the same conditions, coming to the surgery and spending up to 2 hours with our clinical team. The feedback received so far is very positive with patients saying that they know a lot more after their session than before and spending time with other patients has really helped. Dr Milbourn, along with Nurse Inman and our Healthcare Assistant Chantel, offer these sessions once a month. You will be sent an invitation around your birthday if you are eligible!

Reducing prescribing of over-the-counter medicines

NHS Bradford District and Craven CCGs have agreed to adopt NHS England’s guidance on reducing prescribing of over the counter medicines.

This means that if you have a minor condition that can be easily treated with medicines that are available to buy, your GP may ask you to buy the medicine rather than issue a prescription.
